 Dr. Connell is a widely published Professor of Mathematics Education specializing in technology enhanced mathematics classrooms and learning theory.  He has done extensive curriculum development and served as Senior Evaluator on numerous multi-level evaluations.  He has served as Vice-President for Mathematics Education in the Society for Instructional Technology and Teacher Education.  His dynamic and motivational inservices continue to be rated as highly effective. 

    His pioneering work in using SP-Charts in mathematics education has resulted in his being selected by the School Improvement Resource Center as one of four service providers for mathematics meeting the current requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act regarding scientific-based research and evidence of effectiveness.
